Maral focuses her practice in the areas of franchise regulatory compliance, trademark and copyright protection, and commercial litigation. She is licensed to practice in the State of Texas.

Maral received her juris doctorate degree from the University of Houston Law Center and her masters in business administration degree from the University of Houston Bauer School of Business. She completed her undergraduate degree in political science and art history at Texas Tech University, having completed two years of study at the University of Toronto where she studied architecture. Maral is fully trilingual in English, French, and Armenian and worked as a legal French translator for the University of Houston Immigration Clinic.
