Ruling States Restaurant Franchisor SUBWAY Violated Soldier’s Rights

On Thursday, October 22, 2009, the Dallas Morning News posted an article by Karen Robinson-Jacobs wrote covering the partial summary judgment win in favor of Lt. Col. Leon Batie, Jr., against SUBWAY® Real Estate Corp. The judge ruled that SUBWAY violated the United States Servicemembers Civil Relief Act by wrongfully terminating Batie’s two franchise lease contracts without a court order. Please visit the links
